I’ve been helping businesses use technology to work smarter, faster, and more securely for nearly three decades.

I started in this field in 1997, doing computer-assisted graphic design for a San Jose based marketing agency while earning web design certifications in college. In 1998, I became a Certified Webmaster when building a website meant understanding every layer of how the internet actually works not just dragging blocks onto a page. That foundation still guides everything I do today.

Since then, I’ve built, managed, secured, and optimized technology environments for hundreds of small businesses across multiple industries from healthcare and finance to energy, retail, professional services, and remote field operations.

Over the past 28+ years, I’ve worn just about every hat in IT and digital strategy: network administrator, IT manager, service delivery manager, lead technician, consultant, and business owner. Most recently, I spent more than 11 years as the Lead Technician and Service Manager for a Managed IT Services provider supporting 100+ small businesses in Central Oregon.

In that role, I wasn’t just fixing problems I was responsible for:

• Designing and managing secure, reliable IT environments that reduced downtime and risk

• Leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to align technology with business goals

• Moving clients toward NIST security best practices
  Planning and implementing servers, networks, cloud migrations, and security systems

• Supporting everything from single-location offices to multi-site organizations with complex compliance needs

Earlier in my career, I built enterprise grade systems from the ground up including multi-state networks, virtualized server environments, failover clusters, and secure VPN connectivity for remote teams, mobile operations, and drill rig field crews. I’ve planned and executed high-risk projects like relocating entire server rooms hundreds of miles with zero business disruption.
